You have on idea how much I’ve learned on the jouney of becoming a mom of three.
Hi there. My name is Judi and I became a first-time mom 8 years ago.
I remember the first time my husband Joe and I went into the biggest retailer in the town named “Tiny Universe” righ before the coming of Mike (our first kid). We meant to find a stroller and check things out. But…
OMG! We were immediately overwhelmed by the huge variety of baby products we never noticed before. There were like 2 dozens of differnet strollers of all kinds of brands and color we totally didn’t know how to choose.
And we didn’t know that it was only the beginning. In the following months whatever I need to buy Mike, clothe, toy, furiture… everything, there were defaulty countless variations and choices.
Back to my shopping day, my head was swelling and I felt in the middle of nowhere. I told Joe I was tired and felt sick (it’s quite understandable as I was only two weeks from giving birth). And finally we ended up back at home without buying anything.
The lesson I learned was buying baby stuffs was not like shopping a pair of foot boots(which I used to be good at). It’s a field no girl is familiar with and I have to be prepared before jumping in.
These days it’s getting even worse. Baby products are heavily marketed and all the choices can be confusing for unprepared mons.
If you don’t know what pieces of nursery furniture really are fundamental, do you need a changing station or not, which type of car seat can keep your toddle more comfortable during a long drive…
Don’t be too scared! I’ve been there too. Starting with Mike, then Molly and Gordon years later, I’ve learned ins and outs about baby gears.
This Baby Furniture Blog is created for sharing every piece of useful information and what I’ve learned about baby gears under the wish of help other new parents.
Hope you can find valuable here and have fun preparing for your baby!
